Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number, address and profile photo.
• If you sign in with Google or Facebook: your name, email address and profile photo from that service. We never receive your Google or Facebook password.
• Booking details: the car, dates and times, pickup or delivery address, add-ons and any coupon.
• Verification documents you upload, such as your driver’s license (and, for hosts, tax and payout details).
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the payment status and the card brand and last four digits; we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages, support tickets, reviews and damage reports (including photos and videos) you send us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, the page you arrived from, and sign-in times, used for security and to understand where visitors come from.

How we use it

• To create your account, take bookings and payments, and hand over or deliver the car.
• To verify that renters meet our requirements (minimum age 21, a valid driver’s license).
• To send booking confirmations, receipts, deposit refunds and account emails, and in-app notifications.
• To provide support, handle damage reports and prevent fraud or misuse.
• To improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• The host of the car you book (your name, contact details and booking details), so the trip can happen.
• Stripe, for payments and refunds.
• Google (Maps and sign-in) and Facebook (sign-in), only when you use those features.
• Our hosting and email providers, who store and send data on our behalf.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people and property.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember an unfinished checkout and your light/dark theme choice, and keep the site secure. We don’t use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.

Your choices and rights

• See and update your details in your account at any time.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. See our data deletion page.
• Residents of Texas, California and other US states with privacy laws can use the rights those laws give them by contacting us; we won’t treat you differently for doing so.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and payment details are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

Children

Prime Reach is not for children. You must be at least 21 to rent, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email.
